Honing over 5 years work experience in Architectural design, she spent most of these years with a design practice in Nairobi that was progressive, contextually grounded, and charting new territories of critical discourse in Architecture, from the lense of African voices, and amplifying visibility for perspectives that are not often given much space within the global design conversation. Most recently, her passions are being called to explore materiality and crafts and the ways in which they link back to cultural contexts, reinterpretted in the contemporary ways of making today.
